Pierre-Gilles de Gennes Institute (IPGG) , a central place for the microfluidics domain, brings together all of microfluidics research activities in the middle of Paris. Its goal is to gather, in a cross-disciplinary domain (microfluidics), experts from various disciplines (physics, biology, chemistry, technology), and develops both fundamental and applied research. Industrial domains interested by microfluidics are numerous (food industry, medicinal field, cosmetics, oil industry, instrumentation, ...). All of these reasons make the IPGG a perfect location for a biotechnology workshop and we are really happy to get the opportunity to work with them to organize this special day.
