HoliFAB has started as an H2020 European-funded project gathering 10 partners from 6 countries from November 2017 to October 2020 (changer la data). It was aiming at developing a holistic design strategy and business model for the prototyping, fabrication and commercialisation of fully integrated microfluidic systems. The project was organized around 3 production pilot lines in which new innovative, integrated and connected technologies have been developed:
- 3D printing for chip production
- Injection moulding for chip and casing production
- Instruments design and fabrication
